I have recently created a website for my final year using WIX.com. WIX is a great website for beginners. I have never made a website before but using WIX made it more simple for me to navigate. They have the option to create your own website from scratch or use a template. At first I used a template, then after messing around I was able to learn and eventually create my website from scratch.
Theres so many ways to make your website your own. For example, theres many different colour ways, different types of text, add ins like galleries, strips, images, buttons, music and video and so much more. It's almost impossible to make the exact same website twice.
Having a website will be beneficial to me not only during university but after too. I will use it as a portfolio for any job opportunities I may come across. Also, people will be able to access my website on google or through my social media accounts, this might lead to other opportunities for me. And the best thing is, it was completely free to make.
