For my final images I wanted to frame them so they look professional on the wall. I originally was going to buy my frames from AC Gallery. However, it came to £109 which is a fair price, it was just too expensive for me. So, I started looking for alternatives. I was thinking of ordering online, but that is risky because if they're bad quality or the wrong size then I'll struggle to get new frames in time. I decided to go and look in shops. I did see frames in Home Bargins but the quality of them was not good enough. So I went to shops like B&Q and Dunelm. B&Q had some good options but didn't have the correct sizes. I needed A2 and A3, and I wanted them to be the same style frame. So, I then went to Dunelm and found the perfect frames. This is the style frame I bought :
I bought this frame because it was exactly what I imagined in my head. A thin black frame. And I like how it had the option to take the mount board out. I also like how the frame is metal, I think the metal will keep longer than wood, it wont brake easily and it looks clean.
This is the frames with my images in :
Originally, I didn't want mount board but after seeing the images with mount I think the look a lot better, the mount brakes up the image from the frame, also because my images are quite dark they might have blended into the black frame if there was no mount.
Overall, I am happy with the outcome and I think they will look good in the exhibition.
